OBIOMA Platform Integrity & Off-Platform Policy
Last updated 28 September 2026
This Policy applies to everyone using the OBIOMA platform operated by OBIOMA GARMENT CARE & ALTERATIONS SERVICES — customers and Service Providers alike.
Keeping jobs, payments and communication on the platform is what allows us to verify providers, protect your data, hold evidence when something goes wrong, and resolve disputes fairly.
1. Anti-circumvention
You must not arrange, or attempt to arrange, work off the platform with someone you were introduced to through OBIOMA. This applies to customers and Service Providers equally.
2. Off-platform payment prohibition
Payment for OBIOMA jobs must be made through the platform. Service Providers must not request cash, bank transfers or any direct payment, and customers should not offer them. Off-platform payments are unprotected: they carry no payment verification, no dispute process and no damage or loss remedy from OBIOMA.
3. Contact information exchange
Do not exchange personal contact details in order to move a job away from OBIOMA. Contact details, Meeting Point information and precise location details released for a job are for carrying out that job only, as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. False information
- Do not provide false identity, verification, address or skill information.
- Do not misrepresent a garment's condition or value.
- Do not fabricate damage, evidence or reviews.
- Do not use another person's account or create duplicate accounts to evade restrictions.
5. Safety
Threats, harassment, discrimination, intimidation and unsafe conduct are prohibited. Anyone may end a job that becomes unsafe and report it to support@obiomaalterations.com.
6. Referral abuse
Self-referrals, fake, duplicate or linked accounts, shared contact details and any other attempt to obtain referral rewards improperly are prohibited. Such referrals are flagged and reviewed, do not progress automatically, and may lead to rewards being withheld, cancelled or reversed and to suspension or removal from the Platform.
7. Consequences
Depending on severity and history, breaches may result in a warning, restriction of features, withholding of a disputed payout pending investigation, suspension, permanent removal from the platform, or referral to the relevant authorities where unlawful conduct is involved. We tell you the reason and give you a fair opportunity to respond, unless prevented by law.
8. No retaliation for good-faith reports
Reporting a genuine safety, fraud or integrity concern will not be penalised, even if the investigation does not uphold the report.
9. Legitimate communication
This Policy does not restrict normal, job-related communication. Calling a customer on arrival, agreeing access to a building, or confirming a fitting time are all legitimate. What is prohibited is using that contact to take the job, the payment or the relationship off the platform.
10. Evidence and review
Where we investigate a suspected breach, we review platform records lawfully and proportionately — job history, quotes, payment records and platform messages — as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not access communications outside the platform.
